What is a special collection?

A special collection is when you get a single large item, or many waste items picked up as a one off.

If your business is having a clear out, a one-off event or a refurbishment we can help you out.

You can arrange this outside of your scheduled collections.

What will we take as special collections?

These are the items we can take:

• carpet, floor covering and rugs (rolled and tied)
• furniture such as wardrobes, sofas, tables, shelves, desks, cabinets, cupboards or beds (we class a base/frame and headboard as one item)
• internal and external doors
• wooden pallets
• any glass
• mattresses
• decking
• fire surrounds
• sinks
• toilets
• mirrors
• water tanks (plastic)
• black bags with rubbish (these cannot contain builder’s rubble/waste)
• soil and trees (please cut trees down to a manageable size)
